Is Europe seeing a new wave of Jew-hatred?

In the wake of last week’s murders at a Jewish school in Toulouse, I challenge the common view that anti-Semitism is growing in France, and Europe in general, in this article for the Israeli web magazine +972.  I argue that although anti-Semitism still exists in Europe, it is not nearly as pervasive as recent media reports suggest:  http://972mag.com/is-there-a-new-wave-of-jew-hatred-in-europe/39247/

Dov Waxman is Professor of Political Science, International Affairs, and Israel Studies at Northeastern University and the co-director of its Middle East Center. He received his Ph.D. and M.A. from the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) at Johns Hopkins University, and his B.A. from Oxford University. He has previously taught at the City University of New York, Bowdoin College, and the Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey.
